Boat rental stop options

Robinson Island & Bird Island are favorite summertime destinations for area boaters and sun seekers. Enjoy the crystal clear waters, mingle with your fellow island hoppers, and have a blast at these scenic spots.

More importantly, the islands offer important habitats for sea birds, and because of that many areas are basically off limits to humans. Robinson Island is an important nesting area for Wading Herons and Terns. Hurricanes in the last years have heavily impacted this area and efforts are underway to restore trees that were destroyed. In the spring of 2009 students from Gulf Shores, High School Botany Class planted 3,050 trees to help in the effort.

The Flora-Bama Yacht Club features open-air waterfront dining on Ole River across the street from the world famous Flora-Bama Lounge, Package & Oyster Bar. With a chef-to-table experience and hand-crafted cocktails, this Gulf Coast establishment is a place where everyone is a member. Join us by boat or by land, fancy or sandy, and come try our delicious Bushwackers and Greek Shrimp Nachos. Come relax, enjoy the scenery, take in the atmosphere, and make a few new friends at the Flora-Bama Yacht Club.

Since 1957, Pirate Cove serves locals and visitors of the Alabama Gulf Coast. Famous for signature burgers and bushwhackers. They also have plenty of other choices such as sandwiches and salads on our menu. Another popular menu item is our homemade pizza made with our signature dough. Pirate Cove don’t just stop there. Come by for breakfast and enjoy some locally-smoked sausage. Along with the food, we offer boat parking, live music and activities for the whole family to enjoy.

  • Do not pick the Sea Oats – they are essential to the ecosystem of the islands.
  • Be considerate of others – keep the sound down on stereos.
  • ‘No Motor Zones’ are posted on the east side of the islands. This is to protect important grass beds.
