Who Can List Items?

During the Lower Mainland BC Free Alpha, anyone in the Lower Mainland community can list items they own. Whether it's tools, camping gear, or party supplies, you can share them with neighbors to earn extra cash.

Creating a Good Listing

Honesty is the best policy. Take clear photos of your item, describe any wear and tear, and set a fair daily price. Be sure to provide an approximate pickup location (e.g., "Kitsilano") to help renters find you.

Safe Communication & Meetups

Use the Rentosh messages area to arrange the handoff. We recommend meeting in well-lit, public spaces during daylight hours. Rentosh masks your personal phone number keeping communication secure until you agree otherwise. Always meet in a safe, public place and verify the item before completing the rental.

Important: No Platform Insurance

Please remember that Rentosh is currently acting only as a community connector. Rentosh does not provide insurance during the Free Alpha phase. You are responsible for inspecting the renter's ID and choosing to rent at your own risk. Remember that payments are arranged directly between users (e.g., cash or e-Transfer).
